Silicone Rubber Overhead Line Cover

Our snap-in silicone overhead line cover acts as insulation protection sleeve for overhead cables. It minimizes wildlife and bird contacts with the cable, so it can increase reliability while reducing unplanned service interruptions. The insulated conduction cover is easy and fast to install, which can be used for 1kV to 35kV electricity network.

Made using silicone rubber or polyethylene, the overhead line cover can be installed without disassembling the cables. The rubber has characteristics of lightness, ultraviolet light (UV light) resistance, extreme weather resistance, abrasion resistance, and tracking resistance. The covers are designed as snap-in type which can be easily installed by just pressing to buckle the parts without any tools.

  • In a place with dense branches, if there is an overhead line passing by, there is a possibility of branches falling on the cable. This accident may cause a short circuit of the overhead line, resulting in a power outage. Our insulation sleeve can easily solve the issue by buckling the cover to the cable position where the branch frequently falls onto.
